“Barrel of Fun” to Publish SOON!

Well, thanks to everyone who participated in the poll to pick the cover for my next short story, Barrel of Fun. It was overwhelming in favor of the darker, shadowy version, which spoke more to the mood of the story.

So, even though I said midnight, I closed the poll a little early.

I should have links to the new short piece very soon on Amazon’s Kindle store, and for the first five days of it’s release, I’ll be running a FREE promotion, so watch for that!

I had a lot of help getting this one done, and I want to thank everyone involved.

Take care and be on the lookout for the link, soon!

Pick the Cover for my Next Short Story!

My next short story will be ready for publishing on Kindle soon, and I need your help!

I’ve designed two covers for the piece, with help from a lot of Photoshop tutorials, video tutorials, and a little help from Dreamstime.com (for the stock photo I used).

The problem is, I can’t decide which one I like better. My family has split opinions, so they suggested I go to you, oh awesome readers, and get your vote on which cover you think is the more eye-catching, Kindle store-worthy cover design.

So, here’s the poll, and your votes will be tallied until next Saturday, February 23, 2013. Any votes after midnight on Saturday won’t be counted…sorry, but I gotta stop somewhere.

The Covers

Here are the choices; we’ll call them Choice 1 and Choice 2, because…well, I’m just clever like that.

Choice 1:

Barrel of Fun Cover 1

Choice 2:

Barrel of Fun Cover

The Poll

So, there you have it; the two options are there for you to peruse and consider. Let me know in the poll below which you find the better option, and I’ll announce the winner on Sunday, February 24, 2013!

Thanks, all and happy voting!

OH, feel free to pass this around and get others voting too!

“Siren Lake” is FREE Today ONLY!

My newest release, Siren Lake, is FREE on Amazon’s Kindle store today only! Get your copy while it is!

Just click the link below:

Siren Lake

Tam is a curious soul. When she overhears some small town teens talk about a monster in a nearby lake, it’s more than she can resist. Then she finds out the lake has been closed for years. The town’s drying up because of it, and plenty of people have gone missing on or near that lake. What’s happening, and why? Is the monster legend real?

When Tam tries to unearth the truth, the lake ranger steps in to put a stop to her digging. But Tam’s never been one to just give up and go home. She’ll find out what’s happening at Siren Lake, or die trying.

“Siren Lake” is now LIVE! (…and priced correctly!)

My newest release, Siren Lake, is now live on Amazon’s Kindle store for a paltry 99 cents (as opposed to the 99 dollars I erroneously tagged it with before)!

Once again, here’s the blurb and link:

As a reminder, the story will be FREE tomorrow (hrk! another mistake!), but feel free to pick up beforehand if you’d like. I won’t object. 😉
